This two-year program provides students with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to perform the responsibilities in an administrative and management/leadership capacity within a First Nation organization or community. Students receive focused instruction in First Nation government systems based on the Inherent and Treaty Rights of First Nations. The curriculum provides learners with an appreciation of indigenous forms of governance and organizational development, from pre-contact to the present, including modern forms of organizational and management principles. |
